Well, I didn\u2019t actually mean you to go raving mad, but one of our most threatened flying insects is the bee\u2026 There are many species of bees and their main task in life is to pollinate plants, many of which are for human consumption. Bees are mainly threatened by human development causing the loss of their natural habitats.\u00a0 Never, ever, kill a bee, if one gets into the house just catch it in a net or cup and take it out side. My husband had a great trick that nearly always worked which was to \u2018buzz\u2019 the bee out of the house by standing just outside the open door and making a buzzing noise. It was hilarious the children loved it and we would all go wild when the bee flew out of the house not being able to stand my husband\u2019s buzzing noise any longer no doubt! \u00a0Most pollinating insects are not fussy about where they get their nectar and will try any plant or flower so although it\u2019s great to have popular flowers in your garden there is nothing quite like wild or meadow flowers to attract them. \u00a0Always feed the wild birds, there is nothing more beautiful than seeing your bird table full of free-spirits\u2026 Try to have some amount of water in your garden as that attract birds also, flying insects as well as newts, frogs, tadpoles and suchlike. Hedgehogs, squirrels, beetles, bugs, butterflies \u2013 the list is endless. So, go wild and help save the wild-life in your part of the planet.\u00a0 Don\u2019t forget to remind your children and grandchildren about the need to go wild about nature because it\u2019s their future that\u2019s at stake not ours.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
