Just like tobacco and alcohol, drugs, both recreational, medicinal and OTC (over-the-counter) drugs are full of toxins that can affect and have devastating consequences on the body if mis-used. Some of the most addictive drug you can buy in the chemist or supermarket (OTC) are in every-day items such as cough and cold medicines, motion sickness pills, etc. If you feel that you are constantly ingesting certain OTC medication that you cannot leave off taking or turning too, see your GP about how you can stop. Some of the most addictive Prescribed drugs are anti-inflammatory pills which includes Ibuprofen, then there is Warfarin, and some Antibiotics, plus Insulin, and anti-depression pills. Of course, many prescribed drugs need to be used regularly to help maintain health, but some drugs become more habit taking… Therefore, if you feel that you no longer need the prescribed medication you may have been taking for months, perhaps years, please check with your GP, to see if you still need them. Recreational drugs are the most dangerous of all, highly addictive and very poisonous to the body and brain. The most addictive being Heroin, cocaine, weed, LSD, among others. If you do not want your life wrecked needlessly by recreational drugs the best thing you can do is to be strong and confident enough to refuse any that is offered to you in the first place. If, however, you feel that you are becoming addicted to drugs please seek help as soon as possible. Giving up drugs of any kind can be very difficult but it can be successful if you want to rid your body of all the harmful toxins that may ruin or take your life.
Note: If you feel that you cannot control your drug intake, please seek help as soon as possible…
