Life-Style: Control.

Taking and being in control of your own life-style is of supreme importance if you want to live a long, healthy, wealthy and happy life. That doesn’t mean that you have to live within strict routines and habits, where you can never change route or do things you have never done before. Life is all about living, loving and adventure, laughing, supporting and enjoying every day. Naturally, there are going to be episodes of sadness, misfortune and disappointment in your life, but if you are in control of your general life-style, if you know where you are and what you are doing, then you should be able to cope with the bad times as well as the good. If you have never thought of taking control of your life before, the best ways to start, is by taking a good, long, hard, look at yourself to see where you are going. Take your handy notebook and jot down all the positive things you are happy with, all the things you enjoy doing, all your successes, you only need to put a couple of words, you don’t need to write an essay. Then, when you are happy with your initial entries, turn the page and write down all the things you do, the way you are and any worries you have, plus any problems you are not happy with, again, you only need a few words to jog your memory when you are looking at taking control. So, how to start taking control? We all have a daily routine, and if you are happy with what you do, why change anything, unless you have a habit you are not happy with then, that is just the one action you need to address, either by easing it or stopping it, then take the next couple of hours of your everyday life, and do the same, continue a few hours at a time until you are ready for your bed. You just need to jot all the habits or the things you don’t like doing and tackle them gradually, actively, and with determination.
