The emotional state you are in at any one time can trigger illness… Your emotional state can even promote major conditions such as heart attacks, cancer, and if your emotional state weakens your immune system, that can induce many other problems to arise. We cannot completely control our emotions, as they usually occur quickly, shock, surprise, anger, fright, and such-like, they can all happen instantly, but hopefully, they don’t usually last very long, for as soon as our brain has processed the happening that caused the emotion to peek, you calm down and your hyped-up emotion subsides. But what if it doesn’t? Unfortunately, some people live in an almost permanent state of anxiety and emotional stress, and they either have to resort to medication or, if they don’t want to do that, they can look to natural healing by turning to gentle exercise, good food intake, getting enough rest and relaxation, living in the moment, through mindfulness, and by casting negative thoughts out of their mind as soon as they arise. Try concentrating on something more positive, like, reading a good book, watching a good film, art, calling a friend, listening to your favourite music or, reaching out to someone with a sympathetic ear. You can indulge in a gentle massage, turn to yoga, tai chi, or any activity that you think will please you, calm you down, and give you something to focus on as opposed to your negative emotions. Over stimulated by happy and super-exiting emotions, can cause a person to do dangerous things such as driving too fast, and taking unnecessary and dangerous risks, and chances, whilst, dull, negative emotions could even lead to one not wanting to live any longer. So, as difficult as it might seem, take your emotions in hand and try hard to control the emotions that may be making you depressed and sick.
