If by nature you are a healer, someone who is prepared to listen, someone who can help others become calm if they are anxious or worried. A person who will go to someone who is in trouble and will help them process their problems until they have become comfortable enough to be left to go forward in their lives, then your healing gift will have been noticed by others and will have been discussed among friends and relations, which is wonderful. However, it could encourage someone to approach you and request that you teach them your skills. In this stressful world, there can never be enough natural healers, but, before you embark on passing on your abilities, you do have to be mindful of the reasons behind the request. Does this person crave to be noticed, do they want to be the centre of attention, are they seeking praise, financial gain even? If they want to learn healing for any of these reasons, it may be wise for you to step away, because if this person wants to learn healing for the wrong reasons, their healing is bound to fail and could put someone who is genuinely sick in a dangerous position. If you do find someone who wants to be a natural healer, you would have already felt their healing aura, and you would only have to encourage them to build on their skills. Together you can practice mindfulness, and silence, you can sit and touch each other’s healing hands whilst feeling the energy. By then, you can un-touch and the healing energy will still be felt flowing from one to the other. Once you can both feel this flowing energy, then your student will become aware that they really have the potential and the confidence to heal themselves and others, and your teaching will be done. Remember to remind a healer who is going forth, to be aware that although natural healing does work, sometimes a patients illness needs the intervention of a physician or surgeon to assist.
