Moan, moan, groan, groan, poor me: At times, that is all you hear, despite living in a wonderful, easy going, tolerant country, where the majority of people are well fed, have heaps of clothes, a roof over their head and enough money to support their cars, phones, night’s out, etc., still, moans and groans are all you seem to hear, consequently, you can forgive yourself for feeling somewhat negative at times. But, being a natural healer, hopefully, you can put all those moans and whinges behind you and keep a positive frame of mind. When people feel down, displaying a negative demeanour, usually it means that they are suffering with some form of depression, in which case, you need to be that good, positive and attentive listener, for whilst talking, you may be able to pick up on the real problem that is making them feel so down. People very seldom seek out a healer and tell them the exact reason for their visit straight away; a client will often go through quite a lot of chat before the real reason for their visit becomes clear. With a gentle hand, a soothing voice, and a very attentive ear, your client will gradually release their problems to you. They may be afraid, they may be in a troublesome relationship, they may feel that they cannot cope with their children, their family, their finances… there are so many problems that people can carry around with them especially if in general, they have a negative trait, in their eye, everything must appear much worse than a positive person might see them. You may not have to do much in the way of healing, sometimes people just need someone to talk to, someone, they can off-load their problems onto. Teaching them how to relax fully is probably all the advice they need. Meanwhile, you the healer, must learn to put other peoples’ problems behind you and stay positive, for your own sake and sanity.
