Purify: Smoking

The body already has to cope and deal with multiple amounts of toxins that not only the body produces naturally but from the food and drink we consume and the environment in which we live, but some people put their bodies under even more strain by developing habits that add extra, unnecessary stress to the body. These every-day, and most indulgent habits are Smoking, Alcohol and Drugs.  This month we are going to look at Smoking: There are many tobacco plants that are in the same family of herbs called Nicotiana, and is part of the nightshade family, and although most nightshade plants contain nicotine, tobaccos, usually contain a much higher concentration of nicotine. The tobacco plant is produced in many countries where there is a mild, sunny climate, such as Chine, Indian, Brazil and the USA. When ready the leaves of the tobacco plant are gathered, dried, and fermented before adding to tobacco products. The main chemical is nicotine, which is highly addictive. Most people would say that the first try of a cigarette was somewhat less than a joy, but after a few tries the majority of people go on to become addicted to the nicotine and other toxic substances that are contained therein. These substances have a very bad effect on your health, and is one of the biggest causes of illness and death in this country. So how do you stop this health-robbing habit? Well, there are many kinds of actions you can take, if you really want to stop. The most effective is not to buy them, then you cannot smoke them. You just have to take yourself in hand and resist the urge. It won’t be easy giving up a habit you may have done for years. it is never going to be easy, but if you want to have better health, and are concerned for the health of those around you, the best thing you can do is to STOP. Then hopefully it will not be long before your body becomes less toxic and purer.
