Life-reset: Care.

In my articles on resetting your life, I have urged you to not only take a look at the life you are leading at this moment in time, but to look into yourself, hoping that you will take this opportunity to make plans so that your life isn’t wasted and that you have the joy of seeing and doing all the things you would love to do before it’s too late. However, as important as it is to have a fulfilled life, you do have to do so with care. Care that is for yourself. No matter how positive you are or how many plans you make, unfortunately, few of your dreams will come to fruition if you do not care for yourself, physically and mentally. The number one priority in your life should be yourself, even if you have a young family, if you do not take care of yourself, you cannot take care of them. So, above all things, eat healthily, exercise and pay attention to your emotions and mental state. Practice quieting your mind when things are getting out of hand so that you can think straight and make rational decisions. Being positive and doing things ‘out of your comfort zone’ as I have encouraged, but you still have to think carefully before you embark on, something that may culminate in you being involved in an accident or trying something that could affect your overall happiness. So before moving forward, be sure to check whether your actions are safe and healthy. Beware of people who try goading you into doing things you do not feel comfortable with or you may feel is unsafe. Be strong, be positive, and say NO, you only ever need to try things and go to places where you feel safe and confident…  Take care.
