In the last upload, I asked you to take a good, honest look at yourself, plus, I suggested that you ask a close friend who knows you well to confirm your own thoughts and findings. When you feel sure that you now know yourself enough, before moving forward you need to put right or re-balance your behaviours and qualities. In other words, you need to take control. For instance, if you feel that you are somewhat laidback, not very eager to get up and go, your chances of achieving future goals will be hampered, for, to achieve you have to be prepared to act. If you are a nervous type, you will need to build up your confidence so that you can look forward with hope and the way to do that is to undertake small projects at first, that are out of your comfort zone. If you are quick to anger, you will need to take control of your emotions so that setbacks can be smoothed over without you losing your cool. If you are lacking in confidence, unless you can build on your self-esteem the chances are, you will never achieve anything so, try to think positive, set yourself realistic goals and never put yourself down. If you are an over-enthusiastic type, although enthusiasm is a great emotion, you can get carried away with your expectations and end up disappointed so, try to keep calm and not go OTT, so that you can celebrate all the good and positive experiences and take any negative happenings in your stride. If you believe you are reasonably balanced in your general behaviour, then you are more than likely ready to make realistic plans for a very happy and successful future.
