Life-reset: Positive.

Ooop’s, I nearly entitled this article ‘Negative’ but then that’s not very positive, is it?  That’s like always thinking your glass is half-empty, instead of being half full… So, what are you like eh? Are you a positive person or are you a natural, automatic, negative thinker? In my articles over the years, I have often referred to people who are ‘canters’ people who constantly say that they can’t do this or that, can’t go here or there, can’t because of one thing or the other, often uttered before they have even tried to do something, reaching out, or think first. So, let’s have a look at positive v negative… Negative means to be pessimistic, gloomy, cynical, defeatist, not very nice, eh?  However, your mind is astonishing, and I can assure you that if you allow your brain to tell you that you can do something, you can bet your bottom dollar that you will be able to accomplish what you want to do or at least you will have a great deal of fun trying. Of course, you need to be realistic here and you have to look into what you would like to do or where you would like to go first, and before you say that dreaded word I ‘can’t’. if whatever you want to do is physically possible for you, if it is safe to do so, and you have the wherewithal to do it, then with a positive mind-set, there is every likelihood that you will achieve your goal. Plus, your friends and relations will probably admire you for ‘having a go’ and at least you will not be seen as being gloomy. So, next time have a try.
