As a human being you sometimes have to make very rash decisions when something unexpected happens, or maybe, a situation arises whereby, you literally haven’t got the time to sit down and think about what you should or need to do, your brain just instantly triggers your body into action. So, is it your brain that is able to trigger an out-of-the-blue reaction or decision? Well, apparently, you have a second brain situated in your gut and if need be, your second brain communicates with your main brain via the millions of nerve cells that are contained in the walls of your digestive system. Intuition or instinct, you can call it what you like, but there is this phenomenal reaction in your body that occurs when you are suddenly faced with a problem. Can you trust your gut-feelings then? I would say yes, you certainly can, because these decisions manifest through experiences and decision making you have encountered in the past. Gut feelings and instinctive reactions will not always save your life as you may, without any forethought put your own life in danger to save an animal, a person, a loved one or a child. However, gut feelings do not always want you to make instant decisions, sometimes you can experience gut feelings when you find yourself in a situation where you do have the time to do something about it, get away or get out. Perhaps you meet someone you are not sure about, or you are asked to do something that you are not comfortable with. If your gut is warning you or telling you to get out, or pass up on the situation, do it, trust your gut…
