Physical pain isn’t the only pain we suffer, there is emotional pain, an unmeasurable pain suffered that cannot be gaged from 1-10 or indeed 1- 100. When grieving, for a loved-one, a pet, a career disappointment, or any painful upset, being aware of the pain and calming down, easing your thoughts, and being still in the moment can help. If you can manage to calm your emotional pain eventually you will be able to move out of the moment and become aware of looking forward. We have all read stories of amazing people who have suffered chronic injuries being able to drag themselves to where they can summon help, and it’s only when help arrives that their immeasurable pain kicks in.
