No matter what stage of your life, be you a teen, 20, 40, 60, or beyond, it is never too late to take a look at your life and try to fathom out where you are going, if you are totally happy with your life-style then why try to fix something that is not broken, but… If you want to take hold of your life and turn it in a different direction then, without doubt there are going to be challenges: After all, the styles and habits you have had all your life are usually well and truly established and to change the habits of a life-time is not going to be easy, sounds good, but hey! However, if there are things in your life you want to change or stop, your best bet is to tackle one thing at a time, have a look in your notebook and choose a simple action you perform regularly and don’t like eliminate that one. Do you fiddle with your rings or other jewellery constantly? Easy, either remove the items so that you can’t fiddle or cover your rings with a plaster, just to remind you not to fiddle. Do you really have to buy that same bar of chocolate every week? Easy, either buy something different or skip the chocolate isle altogether. Analysts reckon that it takes roughly six weeks to eliminate a lifelong habit. Although it will be a big challenge for you to resist doing something you have always done for six whole weeks, imagine how proud of yourself you will be when you no longer constantly fiddle with your jewellery or have to eat the same boring bar of chocolate every week. The huge benefit of tackling and overcoming a small and easy challenge is that it will give you an added boost of confidence to tack the next habit you want to eliminate out of your life… As you gradually conquer the easy problems that blight your life, you should be able to overcome the big and troubling habits that could ruin your Life-Style.
