Life-Style: Motivation.

In this series of articles on Life-Style, I have looked at stuff like challenges, expectations, gratitude, courage, etc, all written to encourage you to look at yourself to see if you could or would want to enhance the way you live and your Life-Style. However, nothing much can be achieved if you do not have the motivation to do it. Of course, we all have down days, and times when we lose interest in things, bereavements, workload, partnership breakdowns, illness, depression… These times are part of living and It’s only natural that, on occasions we just want to curl up in a corner and be left alone. But, and it’s a big BUT. If you want to get through these down days and move on to live a happy life, you need to take yourself by the scruff of the collar and give yourself a good talking to. You only have one crack at life, so why not give it the best shot you can muster, and the best way to do that is to motivate yourself into getting on with life. Catch up with family and friends, take a fresh look at your past hobbies, go back to the gym or the dance studio, join something new, ask around, despite everyone telling you that the world is a horrible place and that no-one cares any more, believe me when I say, that if you call out, there will aways be someone who is willing to help you and guide you, but of course, you do have to build up the motivation to take the first step, and once taken, the rest of the steps become a lot easier. Give the one-shot you have at life the best you can and may your God bless you.
