Feng Shui:  Resting. 

When wondering around a Zen Garden it is very important, even essential for visitors to be able to relax, meditate and enjoy the feeling of peace and space in their surroundings. Most Japanese gardens have focal points, a Buddha, a large stone, perhaps… A waterfall or a pagoda, whatever you feel is the focal points in your garden, your seating should be set-out or arranged so that your visitor has the best view of them. According to the size of your garden you can have several must-see ornaments or accessories, which can be more appreciated if a person can sit quiet and concentrate on the view and to become aware of the ambiance it creates. Be sure to know your compass points in case anyone askes and be ready to explain the elements and what they represent plus, the feng shui animals and why they are positioned where they are.
