We all expect to live the good life today, with plenty of everything, all that money can buy, especially if we live in a rich country like the UK, but if you look deep into the poorer parts of the world, war-torn parts of our planet, I think you would find that many thousands of people would give whatever little they had for a cup of fresh water, or a loaf of bread as opposed to a new car or a flip-phone. There are countless things in a rich country, things that all of us take for granted, goods that are relatively cheap for the majority of people, and free to many. But its the priceless things that no amount of money can buy, things that are much more important, peace of mind, a shoulder to cry on, someone who truly loves you, someone who will pick you up when you fall down… Inner satisfaction, tranquility.
