Feng Shui: Fear.

Fear is one of the basic human emotions that is there to protect you. When you become afraid your body automatically goes into survival mode by triggering physical changes such as an increased heart rate, and blood pressure, faster breathing and muscle tension, (the flight or fight mode). As soon as you feel fear, your brain alerts your nervous system, which sends out stress hormones, like cortisol and adrenaline, so that you can think and act fast in order to survive the threat. When resetting your life, if you think you would like to do something out of your comfort zone, your brain would immediately alert you to the danger of that action, which would probably prompt you to say no, stand down or turn away. Turning away from the immediate fear doesn’t mean that you can never do what you want, but you would need to start slow, learn and practice, until you feal comfortable with your actions and until you can convince your brain and basic emotion that it need not be afraid, cautious yes, but not afraid. Feng shui, which teaches you balance in all things will help you decide whether you are risking your life, and its encouragement of mental calmness will help you make a final decision.  And if you want to know more about ‘Fear’, go the All Good News article…
