Diets: Do Work!

You just wouldn’t believe how many diet plans there are for you to choose from. In my naivety, I guessed it would be somewhere between 8-10, how wrong I was, and if you search online, you can probably find dozens and dozens more however, after looking into these different diets for you it seems that most of them break down into around 5-6 types, such as: Intermittent fasting, cutting carbs, Mediterranean, calorie counted, and general health assist. So, it’s really down to you to first, check your weight and if you do need to take control of your eating habits so that you don’t get heavier than you already are, then check out the different types of diet and choose the one most suitable for your lifestyle. Personally, I would advise that you don’t inform everyone that you are dieting, then you can get away with going out to lunch or dinner with friends, and keep to your diet without everyone watching your every move. At home you can really stick to a healthy, weight-loss diet, but when socialising, you just need to cut out the fatty options, such as deep-fried food, chips, high-fat dressings, added extras and bread, and you can nearly always ask for a fruit pudding. Keeping your alcohol consumption sparce is no big deal, as no one is going to keep tabs on your wine-glass or how many beers you have had, just enjoy your time out, and feel proud of yourself when you see the next day that your weight has gone down slightly again or at least stayed where it was the day before. And… Don’t forget to add some physical exercise in your diet plan.

Notice: If you are unsure of your diet, please consult your doctor or health advisor.
