How do you know if you are suffering with depression? You probably don’t know, as it’s very common to feel down and unhappy at times, everybody feels low when they are having to tackle the ups and downs of daily life. especially if you are worried about a child or family member, if your relationship isn’t going well, or you have financial problems, let’s face it, in these circumstances you are not going to feel and be all bright and sparkling, are you? But usually once things are on the up again, the child or family member is back to normal, you’ve made it up with your partner, and your bills have now been paid off, thankfully, you will be feeling your old self again. However, clinical depression is something else, something very different, and your body will alert you by it not being able to pick up on the emotions of happiness and joy. Body signs of depression are being in a low mood for weeks, or months and affects your daily living. You can feel very unhappy, or hopeless, you can experience low self-esteem, with you finding no pleasure in the activities you usually enjoy. You can experience, constant tiredness, difficulty sleeping well, being emotional and crying. Being argumentative or rowing. All true signs that your body is finding life difficult to cope with. If you think you are suffering with the type of depression that you cannot shake off, or that lasts longer than a couple of weeks it is advisable to see your GP or health advisor. As there are ways that they can help you overcome this awful and worrying state.
