Every single part of your body, both inside and out is meant to work efficiently. You use your eyes for outward signs of body problems, such as bites, stings, cuts, etc. Your skin will tell you if you are allergic to something. Some things you use your ears for, especially stomach or lung problems, the quieter parts of your body will send you signals, or feelings to make you aware of any problems. All this body-communication is more effective if you keep our body fit, healthy and active, and the best way to do that is to keep moving. No matter how young, old, hardworking, busy or disabled you are, you must keep your body moving as best you can. If you have a sedentary occupation, as many have today, there will always be times when you can work your body, so be sure to use any free time you have to exercise. Walk, run, swim, move, move, move, even if you are sitting down, there are may exercises you can do sitting in a chair. There are head and neck movements for your head and shoulders. Hand, arm and breathing exercises will help the upper part of your body, whilst, leg, knee, ancle and foot exercise help the lower part of your body. Twisting your neck, hands, arms, waist, legs and ancles, all help to keep your body and joints supple. Almost all physical exercise done smoothly and with care will be beneficial to your body, and if you can take a few minutes to relax down after exercising, your body will become easy, calm and quiet and will thank you for all your effort.
