The majority of life is crazy, even if your life seems relatively easy going at the moment, even boring perhaps at times, it is not that unusual for people to look back at their lives only to see just how manic and unpredictable it had been. You never know what is round the corner of your life, or what will happen in the future, so it is very wise to cherish what you have in your life at this moment in time. Things to cherish are those items that could so easily be lost or taken away from you. If you are fortunate enough to have a nice home, cherish that, look after it and keep it clean, homely and welcoming then you will always have good family and friends to cherish. people who are always there for you, those who watch your back, always willing to help and support. Photographs and trinkets that loved ones have bought or given you – as one day, those people may have passed through the vail and are no longer around. How about those heartfelt letters, cards and notes of thanks that were sent or given to you after you had helped someone out? Those lovely words often go towards lifting your spirits on days when you may feel low. Beautiful music, your favourite songs, classical music, hymns… can all be cherished and flood you with lovely memories. Above all, cherish yourself, look after your body, mind and spirit. Even if you have always looked after yourself, you still cannot help becoming unwell at times, and that is when you can look back and praise yourself for doing all you could to keep fit and well.
