Wisdom: Now.

How often have you meant to do something, put it to one side and forgot? Or how often have you meant to call, text or email someone and because you didn’t do it as soon as you thought about it, that message never got through? There are times when things you need to do should be done as soon as you think about it. Just imagine how disappointed you might feel if someone promises to do something for you, or take you somewhere, and they don’t show up, just because they hadn’t taken note in their diary of their promise straight away? Mm… Very upsetting. Or just think of how bad you would feel if you had offered to take someone for a hospital appointment and just because you hadn’t put it down in your notes straight away, your forgot… Oh my!  So, to keep yourself free from having jobs pile up on you, to keep people happy and trusting in your word, and to save you realising that you hadn’t done what you needed to do, it is very wise to tackle ‘need-to-do’ jobs straight away or as soon as ever possible. Don’t put off what you need or want to do, as by the time you realise the action had failed it may be too late to right the mistake or make amends. Acting now, when there is something necessary to do can save you not only time, but face and money. So, remember to do what is needed straight away then you don’t have to rush around doing what was needed at the last moment (save time). Remember to jot down those dates and appointments you need to keep (save face). Remember to put that fresh food in the fridge or freezer as soon as you get home from shopping (save money) If there is something to do, do it NOW!
